In my opinion, NO!
The live style which oboregeni poeple live is the best way to suvive in that area.
If they westernize, the population will grow because of the modern medical tech. Then they will need more food to feed the food and more grass to feed the cattles.
Too much cattles will destroy the land in to desert.
Then the whole beautiful land will become a dead desert.

My opinion is same as you. Masi Tribe must protect their traditional culture even though the women's level is lower. The culture is very important in every country.
Therefore, I don’t think the Masi Tribe should change their life.
